BATH TUB AND TILE

Please remove all items from your bathroom, except from inside the cabinets. This includes anything you may have displayed on the top of your cabinet, toilet area and artwork on the walls.

Absolutely Amazing Refinishing, Inc employees will not move any personal effects whatsoever. If items remain in the bath at this time, refinishing work will not be completed. The new finish applied to your tub area will be sprayed on, and we don’t want to over spray on any of your personal effects. A paper barrier will temporarily be created during the application to prevent any of this material from spreading to the rest of the apartments.

Some of the chemicals have a strong chemical odor. During application, the front door or window is left open with the ventilation system in use to aid in the removal of these odors. If you have a pet, make sure it is confined to a different room.

There may be a little remaining odor in your apartment, this is normal and will dissipate shortly. Do not put any items on your new bath tub surface for at least 48 hours. Even though it may feel dry to the touch, it takes 48 hours for the finish to harden. After 48 hours, the finish becomes very hard and durable, and you may use it and clean it in a normal fashion.

As with any new tub, remove excess water and wipe tub after each use. Be sure faucets are tightly closed and shower pipe is drained after each use. Do not rest any soap bottles, spray cans or wet cloths on the surface for long periods of time.

Even though the tub doesn’t look dirty, it should be cleaned at least once a week with liquid cleaner such as Greased Lightning or Lysol Tub & Tile. Never use abrasive cleaners such as Ajax, Comet or even Soft Scrub.
